The Events Coordinator works with the members of the Content Working Group to address event related concerns of The Fellowship, including monitoring the planning processes of all national event design teams, developing event timelines and procedures, and assisting chapters with event management/planning as needed or requested.
Amberly Johnston is the Director of Music and Worship Arts at Mount Pisgah UMC in Greensboro, NC, where she directs the adult choirs, handbells, and children’s choirs. In addition to her church work, Amberly directs the Greensboro Community Women's Chorus and teaches private voice and piano lessons. A native of DuBois, Pennsylvania, Amberly holds degrees from Ithaca College (BM) and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (MM). In addition, she studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, as part of their Opera Studio program. Amberly has served on the Visioning Team for the Fellowship, and is currently Events Coordinator as well as President of the Western NC Fellowship Chapter.
