Dauphin Way is a historic church in midtown Mobile with a strong tradition in Music and Worship Arts. The Cherub Choir (4 year olds through 1st Grade) and Wesley Choir (2nd-5th Grades) serve as the foundation of our Music Ministry which seeks to provide musical outlets for every person in every life stage.

The Children's Choir Coordinator reports to the Director of Music and Worship, and works collaboratively with he or she as well as the Associate Director of Music to support all of the ensembles in the Music Ministry at Dauphin Way. Primary responsibilities include selecting suitable music for and directing the Cherub Choir and Wesley Choir in rehearsal and performance. Rehearsals currently take place on Sunday evenings, 5-6:30 p.m., as a part of Sunday evening children's programming, with plans to move the rehearsals to Sunday mornings during the Sunday school hour. Each choir sings on Sunday mornings about once a month as well as in Dauphin Way's annual White Christmas service. Candidates for this position should have experience in elementary music education and children's ministry, with a preference towards those with a degree in elementary music education.
