Job Description:

North Little Rock First United Methodist Church is seeking a Director of Music Ministries. The primary responsibility in this position will be to direct the Chancel Choir of the traditional service. In addition, the Director will resource the worship leader and band of the contemporary service, supervise and/or direct music programs for youth, children, and handbells.

To be considered for this position, the right person must have a strong Christian faith, experience conducting/leading traditional and contemporary-modern worship, and an understanding of the role church music plays in Christian formation. They must have the ability to oversee an evolving music ministry and to work collaboratively with the Senior Pastor, staff, and lay volunteers. We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Music.
