Job Description:

Greensboro First United Methodist Church (GFUMC) is a vibrant and growing congregation desiring to expand its ministry to children, youth, and families. Our two campuses allow for creative opportunities for building relationships, developing ministry partnerships and helping people become disciples of Jesus Christ.

GFUMC is seeking a full-time Director of Music Ministry. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead and grow the music program as a minister both spiritually and musically through the planning and execution of weekly and special services. The position reports directly to the Senior Pastor and will interact frequently with other team members. Salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience, including benefits.

Qualified candidates must possess a four-year college degree with a concentration in music. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in Christian-based music programs with responsibilities for choir, handbells, and keyboard. The Director of Music Ministry will work with adult, youth, and children’s programs.
