Assistant to the President

Assistant to the President is appointed as an at-large member to offer leadership support as President Laura Jaquith Bartlett represents The Fellowship in her role as Worship & Music Director for the 2016 General Conference.

Biography

Jay Regennitter is lead pastor of First United Methodist Church in Robinson, IL, where he is helping to rebuild facilities and a congregation after a devastating fire. Jay has served as a lead pastor, associate pastor, music minister, and youth pastor in congregations of diverse size, ethnicity, and location. Jay has a bachelor's degree in choral music education and a master's degree in organ performance, both from Western Illinois University; he also holds the MDiv from Duke Divinity School. Jay has been serving as the worship areas coordinator for The Fellowship the past two years, and has also served as the preaching interest area chairperson. Jay is an ordained elder in the Illinois Great Rivers Conference of The United Methodist Church, where he has served on the district board of ordained ministry, in discipleship ministries, as conference organist, and an at-large member of The Fellowship chapter's board.
