Shawn Gingrich


The President shall be the representative of the organization to The United Methodist Church and preside at all meetings of The Fellowship and National Council. Shall monitor the progress of the Nominating Committee and the Election Committee and serve ex officio on all other committees.


Shawn serves as Director of Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church in Hershey, PA, where he directs the choirs and is organist. He also serves as organ instructor at Messiah College in Grantham, PA, and directs the Hershey Handbell Ensemble, an auditioned community handbell ensemble which he founded in 2004. Shawn holds degrees from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies (DWS), Westminster Choir College (MM), and Lebanon Valley College (BM). He served on the worship design team for The Fellowship's national convocation in Pittsburgh in 2013 and as handbell clinician at Music and Worship Arts Week in 2014. Shawn and his wife Laura have four children, Peter, Sarah, Christian and Aaron, and reside in Elizabethtown, PA.
